How big of a scar does a breast reduction/lift leave?

A friend once told me that the scar under the breast does fade a lot, but even after a full year it can still be seen when you are on top and the lights are on. She didn't seem too worried about it. I wouldn't be either. The rewards of back pain relief totally outweigh the drawback of minor scarring.

Remember that some procedures are riskier than others. Weigh that against scarring.
Since the scar is under the breast, it is hardly noticeable.
if u go to a good surgon there should only b little scars on the side, perhaps not even noticable.
The scare will be under the breast and you won;t even see it unless you "lift it up" Go for it!
I worked for a Plastic Surgeon for 5 years and a breast reduction scar is in the shape of an anchor. The circle is around the nipple with an incision going down the breast to the under side where the rest of the incision is made. It is not a small scar. Please consult with at least 3 Plastic Surgeons before you decide to do the procedure. Get all of the facts. Also remember that this procedure is often covered by Medical Insurance . There is usually an overnight stay @ the hospital as well. If you are looking for just a lift, that scar can be small if you get implants instead of a lift. The lift scar is just like the reduction scar. Again, consult with @ least 3 different Plastic Surgeons, get all the facts AND do make the best decision for you. Good luck to you.
It's 1-2 inches long. unless the use a tube to suck out fat.
It's an upside down T shaped scar under your boobs, and a total circle around your nipple - and depending on your skin type it can be anywhere from barely noticeable to very obvious.
