Breast reduction/augmentation?

i have one breast that is probably a b cup. and the other is a D cup.

i've been considering having the smaller one reduced because it's hard to find a bra that works for me, and when i sleep without a bra, the bigger one hurts me a little.

I'm 19, 5'4 130 lbs. ive seen a doc about it and they said because of my age, the smaller one won't catch up to the bigger one. they've been that way for years.

I'm scared of surgery, yet I kind of want to do it??

I would say do it, I have had a breast reduction and it was not all bad. Huge breast run in my family, so my grandmother had to have one too. The doctors have come a long way since she had hers and I felt virtually no pain, only a little discomfort sleeping right after the surgery. It was the best thing I have every done. I have less back pain, I am sleeping a lot better, and look better in my clothes. I had mine when I was 20.
hello holly nicole,
i have had a breast reduction and augmentation.......they are both very painful.....but to me it was worth it.....i would go thru any amount of pain just to be normal....but that's just me. you do what you think is best.......it only hurts for a little while - like about a week and your doc will definitely give you pain pills to take for your discomfort.....i think you should go for it !!!!!
My daughter has the same problem and the doctor said that it is VERY common and that there are more women out there that have different size breasts than we think.

If I were in your shoes I would investigate what your options are (implant or reduction) I would also do your homework in order to find a reputable doctor to do which ever surgery that you decide if any at all. You could always use some padding in order to make the smaller one look the same as the other.

I have also considered getting a reduction (size H) but have been told by the doctors that it is harder and more risky to reduce than to do impants.

My breast were only a D cup until menopause then they put me on hormones and it was like I was a teenager all over again, they grew and grew.

Good luck on which ever way you decide
I had a reduction in Feb 2006, one breast was bigger than the other but I had them both reduced as I was a J cup.

Surgery is risky and scary, but there are doctors in the room that are specifically there to watch over your vital signs.

Breast augmentation surgery is very safe nowadays. My cousin got her breast reduction, tummy tuck and facelift surgery in India by the company called tour2india4health consultants .The Price for the surgery she paid in India was very less. She paid 30% of the cost she was quoted in America.

Tour2india4health Consultants is very famous in India. They arrange cosmetic and plastic surgery for foreigners in India. I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories. They arrange financing for USA, Canadian, UK and other international patients who plan to have surgery abroad for low price, as the breast reduction, tummy tuck, facelift and other cosmetic surgery is not covered by insurance. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. There are huge cost savings. As a doctor I personally believe that surgery can be easily handled in India, as the quality of healthcare available In India is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.
