I am 2 months post op and am still wearing a supportive bra each night. I stopped wearing my surgical bra after 4 weeks. My plastic surgeon advised me to wear a bra all the time, a really supportive one during the day and then a maternity or soft cup at night. Before my surgery I wore bras 24/7 and had huge but still perky breasts. And now after paying AU $11,500 I plan on wearing an underwire bra each day and a supportive soft cup each night. I wouldn't want to risk my breasts getting saggy after paying all that money.

Congrats on your surgery!!!!

Your doctor will know this answer. You should ask him, since different PS's have different ways of treating their patients.

You are paying him to take care of you, so please give him a call and ask.

I did not have a surgical bra as my PS did not instruct me to wear one.
