What is the effect on the child if the mother makes love with the husband while sitll breastfeeding the child.

The child is below months and the "effect" being refered is health.

I think the baby would get in the way, either feed the bairn or do the husband-but not both at the same time.

The child wont notice a thing if he is still too young. Im assuming the husband can wait another 15 min though?

No effect on the child whatsoever. But if you mean making love while actually breast feeding your baby, then surely you can wait until, after the feeding is over. breast feeding should be a quality time for you and your baby.

Or are you the kind of mom who nurses all the time, you know, I mean when the baby's still small. But then again, if the baby is that small, I'm sure the doctor won't allow you to have intercourse yet.

Anyway, it won't have any effect to the child, but I imagine it will be very difficult for a woman to have sex while nursing.

Adultery is wrong -and how often does that happen? How often do celibate priests cheat on their vows? How many people actually wait until marriage?

Society can try to dictate that people not have sex at specific times and for the majority of people it isn't going to work.

While some societies do have post-partum sex taboos I have yet to hear of one that lasts for 2 years.

Absolutely none, as long as the child isn't in the room.

It must pick up a love vibe I would have thought, a positive loving bonding feeling.

I'm sure Dad can wait until after baby is done nursing to make love to Mom. That's just crazy.

edit: I didn't understand the question. You can make love when Mom and baby still nurse, just not at the same time as she's nursing
