My wife really wanted me to ask this question so here it is. Can breastfeeding make your breast bigger ?

Like I've heard that they can get saggy no matter what but I don't think thats in every single case. If you wean a certain way like not let the kid empty all the milk out wont what ever is left dry up and let your breasts stay like an engorged size.

My boobs are like saggy water bombs...
My cousins on the other hand.... got the luck of bigger healthier looking boobs.
I think the first is more common then the second with either choice of breastfeeding or not.

Breasts are bigger when breastfeeding however when you stop they will either return to normal size. You will not be able to stop sagging as they return to normal because of excess skin. Only exercise can tighten your breast muscles, unless you are part of the few lucky folk that have great elasticity in their skin due to great genes.

You may also get stretch marks due to the increase in size (whether you breast feed or not), but a good bra should minimise this and moistoriser can but help too.

Saggy breasts are caused by pregnancy whether you breastfeed or bottlefeed but they can be prevented by wearing a maternity bra day and night throughout pregnancy and a nursing bra day and night while breastfeeding. My breasts got bigger after feeding, but some people find they get smaller. Others notice no difference. But it has nothing to do with emptying the breasts or not emptying them.

I nursed my second baby completely (no formula and very few bottles) until he was a year old. I had also heard that your breasts will sag if you breastfeed, but it was the opposite for me. My breasts are bigger and don't sag (even 3 1/2 years later).

That's just me- I don't know about everyone else.

Oh, I also have a friend who nursed both her babies and her breasts do not sag at all. .

Your wife's breast will not be bigger if she breastfeed. In fact her milk will be better than milk formula as your baby will receive more anti-bodies. Babies will less likely to have stomach upsets, wind in the tummy & bowel complaints.
Ask your doctor for advice & help on breastfeeding if you are still in doubt. Good luck.

lol, no, of course they will be much bigger with all that milk, but once baby has been weaned off the breast then they will either reduce to her normal size or become alittle saggy and less perky than before hre milk came in, it sucks yer (no pun intended there) but mother nature really is a ****** sometimes! my boobs have never been the same since my babs were born! they are 2 and 1 year olds now :( xx

The breasts will be big while the milk is there, but after the baby is weaned or she dries up, they'll go back to normal size. There will be some extra sagging after as well, so a bra with good support is important.

No you can not "store" dried breastmilk in your breast to keep them a certain size. Every woman is different but it is very important to wear a good bra while breast feeding - good support is the key.

No, they'll get saggy. In every case. And I hope you weren't too attached to those pink little girl nipples either, because they'll be gone too.

Ummm..... no eventually she will try up and eventually her breasts ill head south! That's just the fact of life. Now that she isnt pregnant anymore her breasts will go back to the sizethey were.

excuse me?? I breastfed 13 yrs out of my life and my breasts dont sag at all, they'd put any girls gone wild chick to shame.

they swell

you cant cheat a natural process so just accept it

it will get swell

Silly men... they really have no clue, do they? lol
