Is it normal to missed a period while breastfeeding or pregnant?

I have been breast feeding for 1yr 7months. I started to get my period when my son was 9 months, it has been 2 times that I have missed a period, the first time i got next month. now it has passed 2 months. I haven't taken a pregnancy test because probably this is normal.

I've nursed my son now for 26 months, and I'm 24 weeks pregnant. I'd take a test to be sure. Once you are getting your period you are ovulating, and technically could be pregnant.

My daughter is 6 months and I still haven't had my period. I had a IUD put in so I wouldn't get pregnant but my OBGYN told me dont' be surpised if I don't get it til I finish b reast feeding. How much are you feeding your baby. Once you decrease to just a snack then it should start up again....If you are really concerned call your Dr

it is normal. while you're breast feeding you can never have a period. but just to be safe you may want to check since you did have it....

you should ask your doctor. I know many people who say that during breastfeeding they never had a period. If you breast feed enough each day you body should not ovulate making it not able to get pregnant.

take a test or call your doctor. Breastfeeding is not a sure fire way to avoid pregnancy. trust me.

you get your period when your pregnant>?
