My mom is breastfeeding my 20 month baby brother while on xanax?

She split up from my dad because shes really crazy.
theyre not divorced yet.
she doesnt play with my little 20 month old brother, and when he gets fed, its like mcdonalds every day.
she still breastfeeds him - while on XANAX and zoloft.
isnt that wrong?
whenever he goes a day without her milk, he goes insane, crying screaming.
so isnt it wrong, what can we do?

At 20 months old, he doesn't take in that much milk as he is eating other food.
I know Zoloft is okay for a breast feeding mother, not sure on xanax.
Only a small amount passes through, and since it is an older baby, babe can process it much better.

If you are serious, talk to her about adding in some better food.

Zoloft is safe, xanax probably shouldn't be used. However as he is 20 months old he will metabolize the drug at near adult levels.

As for the fact that your mom isn't properly caring for him obviously she needs help from a qualified professional, not some pill pusher.
