Do you believe Breastfeeding will help better our next generation?

I meant healthwise.

yes they have done studies that children who have been breastfeed do better in school

I think people thinking and getting married before they have babies will help for the next generation. People have been bf for many generations so what's the next generation going to get from it that many others already have??

No reason to start a post that gets people stirred up unless you meant to do so

Being a good person and a good parent are what will help this generation. Breastfeeding is great, of course, but so is formula. I don't think being breastfed is going to stop our hate, crime, and turmoil. Everyone should have a choice as how to feed their child and not be judged for it.

I do - it's definitely not going to hurt anyone!

I feel really bad for moms who want to breastfeed and have problems. I was fortunate and didn't have any issues breastfeeding my babies. I think it's something everyone should at least try!

Good Question!

no. I think breastfeeding or bottle feeding is just fine and both will better the next generation. Nothing is wrong with bottle feeding and to those people who give me a thumbs down, get real. Would you rather I starve my baby? Gimmie a break.

I believe being a good parent and monitoring your children and disclipining them accordingly will better our next generation.

Edit - how you feed... Not necessarily. And this is coming from a mom who did breastfeed.

not necessarily. I believe that love and being non-judgemental will help alot more.

what?! I'm a huge fan of breastfeeding, but there are a lot of things that will do more to "better our next generation" than breastfeeding!! (for example: good parenting).

Yes, it's what my wife doing now. It's good for your baby and mom as well. It helps mom to get body shape back faster and naturally.
