I have a really bad sinus cold and I was wondering what could I take for it, because I am still breastfeeding?

I still breastfeed my 11 month old son, and I was wondering what I can take without it affecting my milk.

I just got over one of those. I am not breast feeding, however my doctor did say that the best treatment was to lay back a few times a day, and fold a washcloth in thirds or fourths, and soak it in really really warm water. Place the warm washcloth over you sinus to help clear it up.

It helps a bit... but certainly not like medicine...

Also my friend swears that doing the "horizontal hokey pokey" can cure ANYTHING, especially colds...

i used the saline drops to clear all the mucus out..
warm showers so the vapors can help it
maybe a humidifier?
i was too scared to use any type of cold medicine.

My midwife said Tylenol cold tablets (or generic) are okay. Avoid Dayquil or Nyquil and pseudoephedrine. I took Tyenol cold, Walmart brand, and my daughter was find.

just have hot water, squeeze lemon in it and put some honey. that works for me. hope you get better
