Is it safe to get the two step mantoux test while breastfeeding? |
i am going into a healthcare program/college and they are requiring that i get a two step mantoux test before class starts. i have never been immunized - my family files waivers for vacs. but if its truely required is it safe while breastfeeding? The mantoux is a TB test that into the top layer of your skin, and you go get it checked between 24-72 hours. It should be safe. Please consult your gynae if you are truly worried. |
