can i eat weight loss bars / shakes etc?..
im not fat as im hugely tall but im concerened cause i dont want to be........
ugh i feel crapp!!! :(

heyy girlie!!! okay, so... although i'm not a pro (well, lets skip the pro talk, i actually know NOTHING about breastfeeding really lol.. ) but what i do know, is that my sister solely breastfed, and she didnt lose weight until after she stopped because she was constantly eating and drinking to keep herself nourished. (she maintained, which is pretty much your goal right now.. keep both your cute lil baby boy healthy and nourished, as well as yourself... )
here's a couple sites i found that could help you out. if they don't, sorry... they just seemed interesting and offered good advice for your situation!! :)
and hes about 17 lbs?! so is dylan.... i have all of this 6-9 month stuff for the fall/winter here.. (its still hot) that he can pretty much wear right now if need by.. yikes! i'm screwed :)

(this may help ease your mind about your diet as well)

(this talks about how pregnancy cravings are different than breastfeeding cravings, but how you're hungry alll the time and what to do.. read the comments that people replied to this persons question - sounds a lot like your question)

wish i could offer more first-hand advice, but hope this helps nonetheless!!! :) good luck and congrats for stickin with the breastfeeding this long!! :)

I lost weight nursing while eating piggishly. I have a one-year-old and still down a pizza as a late-night snack without weight worries. Eat and drink when you're hungry and thirsty, even if it seems like a lot; you'll likely find that sort of thing works differently when you're nursing.

Putting leftovers in tiny containers so you can have a single cup of spaghetti or whatever at a moment's notice is useful, I find.

I have been losing weight while nursing and also feel like I'm eating all the time. One of the things I found helpful was to have lots of healthy finger foods around - things you can toss in a bowl and take with you to wherever you're nursing. This includes things like dried fruits, nuts, pretzels, cereal, even chocolate chips. I try not to have too much junk in the house. Also make sure you're drinking enough - that alone can sometimes help.

Yeah, it's hard to feel hungry all the time. Between having a new baby and nursing, it does require a lot of energy!
