I'm a STARVING breastfeeding mummy? |
Ok So, I'm exclusively breastfeedin my 15 week old son ...hes a whopper at 7.7kg or like 17 pound i think ... i'm 197cm tall and weigh 81 Kg or UGH!! 178 pound ILK what other feeding mothers do to stay full...i eat my breakfast then in starving and im finding im needing to eat S hit through out the day or im irritable and tyred ...fruit and veg are plentyful in my house and i usually have a very healthy organic diet but i feel now im stuffin myself with cr ap!.... heyy girlie!!! okay, so... although i'm not a pro (well, lets skip the pro talk, i actually know NOTHING about breastfeeding really lol.. ) but what i do know, is that my sister solely breastfed, and she didnt lose weight until after she stopped because she was constantly eating and drinking to keep herself nourished. (she maintained, which is pretty much your goal right now.. keep both your cute lil baby boy healthy and nourished, as well as yourself... ) "im not fat as im hugely tall but im concerened cause i dont want to be........" I have been losing weight while nursing and also feel like I'm eating all the time. One of the things I found helpful was to have lots of healthy finger foods around - things you can toss in a bowl and take with you to wherever you're nursing. This includes things like dried fruits, nuts, pretzels, cereal, even chocolate chips. I try not to have too much junk in the house. Also make sure you're drinking enough - that alone can sometimes help. |
