Contraception pills and breastfeeding?

has anyone used a pill that has two hormones, not a mini pill, while breastfeeding once your breasfeeding was established?

I did with my first. I used Alesse which was dual hormone pill.

I started using it at 6 weeks post partum and had no issues with my supply at all. I think as long as you feed on demand, it won't affect supply.

With my second my doctor put me on the mini pill because apparently the extra estrogen in the regular dual hormone pills can transfer through your breastmilk. Did some research on that and it doesn't appear to be true, at least not proven by studies.
