My mother who is 79 has ALS we thought for 3 years she had had a stroke. I need help on caregiving what to do?

Are there any programs that will help us on what to expect and what will happen and how to deal with ALS???

What ever city you are in may have help for you. Contact social services first. Even if your mom is not on Welfare or you have money to do these things, they can at least tell you where to start, home nursing, etc. Good luck.
