Does anyone know the statistics of hpv cervical cancer?

in other words.........1 out of 3 women have it things like that? any website?

The CDC has reported that as many as 80 percent of women 鈥?and 50 percent of men and women combined 鈥?will get a type of genital HPV at some point in their lives. However, most of those infections go away or are suppressed by the body within one to two years without causing any problems that require treatment.

Worldwide, cervical cancer is the second-most common type of cancer that strikes women 鈥?behind only breast cancer. In the US, cervical cancer is the 14th most common cause of new cancers diagnosed among women every year. The American Cancer Society estimates that in 2007, about 11,500 women in the US developed cervical cancer and about 3,700 died from it. The lower occurrence of cervical cancer in the US is largely thanks to the Pap test, which has helped decrease the number of American women with cervical cancer by about 75 percent in the past 50 years.
It's estimated that globally, one in every 123 women will develop cervical cancer if screened only with the Pap test. In addition to regular Pap testing of all eligible women, cervical cancer prevention can be improved with the use of the HPV test (for women age 30 or older) and the new HPV vaccine (for girls ages 9-26).

Hope this helps,

Not sure if this is what you are looking for. Many women have HPV but most progressive infections are stopped in the early stage...how many LEEP's or Cone that don't involve cancer may be a better question.

As you can see from these statistics about 44 million women will be treated for non invasive cancer CIS...but no numbers on how many women are treated for CIN 3.

Vulva and vaginal cancers are not in these statistics.

Careful follow ups with your doctor are essential for prevention of cervical cancer. Many HPV infections regress without any treatments but some progress

The American Cancer Society predicts that there will be about 11,070 new cases of invasive cervical cancer in the United States in 2008. About 3,870 women will die from this disease that same year. Some researchers think that non-invasive cervical cancer is about 4 times as common as the invasive type. When found and treated early, cervical cancer often can be cured.
