Question about cervical cancer vaccine?

the vaccine has three shots with it, right?
well, is it alright if you just took one shot of it?
are you required to get all three shots if you already had one?

Yes, you have to have all three shots in order for the vaccine to be fully effective!

GARDASIL is given as 3 injections over 6 months and can cause pain, swelling, itching, and redness at the injection site, fever, nausea, and dizziness.

It prevents you from getting certain types of cervical cancer and helps to protect you from getting genital warts and human papillomavirus (HPV) Types 6, 11, 16, and 18: which is what causes you to get cervical cancer.

No, it does not cause infertility!

I did my research paper for anatomy/physiology (college) on the Gardasil vaccine.

My b/f just lost his aunt two years ago to cervical cancer. From the time she was diagnosed that previous December she died 5 months later. It was so hard to watch her go through all of the testing, chemo and still nothing helped in the end. Report It

I'm not sure but I heard it makes you infertile

ITS CALLED A SERIES OF SHOTS FOR A REASON. YOU NEED THEM ALL TO GET THE FULL BENIFITS OF THE IMMUNIZATION. GET THE FULL SERIES. ALSO, IT IS ONLY AVAILABLE TO YOUNG GIRLS WHO HAVE NOT BEEN SEXUALLY ACTIVE. I ONLY WISH THIS WAS AVAILABLE WHEN I WAS YOUNG.

Why would you not get all 3?

I can't believe anyone would deny themselves the opportunity to get an effective cancer vaccine.

Maybe you should visit an Oncology ward at a hospital and see what cancer does to people ....

There are more than 100 forms of HPV and the vaccine only prevents 4

those 4 aren't even the ones supposedly linked to cancer, HPV just seems to be a pre cursor to a few people who did get cancer, it is not proven to cause cancer.

Its a money scheme, big money in medicine scare tactics.

It does not make you infertile. If it did this wouldn't be the first time I have heard of it, nor would I have allowed my daughter to receive the vaccine. You are required to get all 3 shots. It is just like taking medication when you are ill. In order to reap the full benefit you need to take it as directed.
