If you have cervical cancer can they give you radio therapy tablets and can you avoid hospital stay? |
Would you be able to go home and have treatment there ? Will there have to be any operations? of course not you must do it at the hospital where the machine is....the radiologist will give u some planning to determine how many sessions you will need.it is done everyday for only some minutes...... you can go home after the treatment and comeback everyday. No, radiotherapy doesn't mean taking medication, it's treatment from a specific machine, a bit like x-rays. Has to be done where the machine is. |
