Could it be Cervical Cancer? Please help.?

Last month i started bleeding a week early but it was more like spotting. brown and very light pink, not normal for me. Not much blood at all. Just a few spots. Also had cramps in pelvic area and sides for a whole week nonstop. Doctor did preg test and exam. Everything fine. Then I got my regular period on time. A whole 2 week ordeal.

Now this month period is 7 days late. A few cramps. 2 preg tests both negative. burns when i pee and hurts too sit. have a feeling of pressure in my area.
Periods are ALWAYS normal for me. Wasnt stressed out until after whats happing this month, so it's not stress causing it. No changes in diet, exercise, or birth control.
I am only 19. My mother did have cervical cancer around 35. If you have had cervical cancer, please tell me if this might sound like it and what symptoms you had.
Thank you for reading so much information. I will be making another appiotment tomorow but the curiosty is killing me.
Thank you and god bless.

did your doc do an ultrasound? if not have them do one. its possible you could have ovarian cysts and they are bursting. this is totally normal. also if you have cervical cancer in your family your doc should be taking blood tests, ultrasounds and the whole nine yards to make sure you dont have it. if shes not, get a second opinion, good luck and i hope everything works out for you

If you are scared you should make sure you tell you Dr. your family history. It sounds to me like you have a combo of things. Perhaps a UTI or a cyst on your ovaries. Don't forget stressing manifests it's way physically, so if you are stressed also let your Dr. know.

could just be a bladder infection. Both my sisters are going through it right now... Burns when they use the restroom and all. another reason of spotting could be signs that you lost a baby (although not your case). Good Luck to you im sure everything will turn out ok,

nope, currently have it and dont feel any pain at all and normal periods. are you sexually active? possible PID? pelvic inflamitory d. or UIT urinary tract infection, that could cause pain, maybe see a different doctor to get a second opinion. God bless you and take care.

if you have suspicions don't wait, see your gyn asap. it is not worth taking chances when it comes to your health.

good luck,

I am nooo Doctor, I have B.Sc. in Microbiology... so this is NOT medical advice (I am a Lawyer now, thus the disclaimer)...

...You're Mother contracting the disease is a warning sign, the fact that you take it so seriously is good... it is not necessarily symptomatic of cervical cancer...

but you do need to go to a Gyno...

let him do a pap smear, let him do "his thing"... you'll be all right, even if it is cervical cancer, you're catching it quick enough to have a LONG life ahead of you!

uhm well im not that old , im 15 but i dont know when you got your period, if you just got it recently then you should be good, if not you should go check again with a doctor. because my 12 year old friend is having those symtoms too, and i doubt she has cervical cancer.

I'm wishing you the best of luck. But it sounds like an UTI and i say that cause i had the same symptoms only my extreme pain was all in my lower back it was horrible your pelvic region hurts... It's painful and it burns to use the bathroom makes you not want to go but can't help but to go cause it's like you can't control it anyway. But it just sounds like a tract infection and you don't have to have sex to get one although they are most common from not urinating after are before intercourse just were bacteria get push into the urinary tract. But every woman will get one in life sexually active or not. Just another one of those things us women have to deal with unfortunately. Hope i was of some help.
God Bless You And I Wish You The Best Of Luck. I'll Pray For You Either Way.
