What happens when you get cervical cancer? |
can you die? and i heard that you can't have babies if you get it. so what all happens or can happen to you? Any cancer can kill you if left untreated. Usually, cervical cancer is very hard to diagnose and is found when the disease has already spread to other organs. If by chance, the cancer is diagnosed early though, there are different treatment options that might allow having a baby. It just depends on when the cancer is found and whether or not it has spread to other areas. If diagnosed early surgery can be done to remove the cancer followed by radiation. Chemotherapy is often used in conjunction with other treatment such as radiation. |
