Cervical Cancer needle? Extreme Pain?

Does it hurt more during the needle or after the needle?
Also does the needle last long or is it really quick?

I just had the needle about 1 month ago & i am getting the next dose next month. The scarest part of the needle is definetly the build up to it. They only thing you feel is the first tiny prick of the needle when it goes in. Make sure after you have it that you sit down for 1/2 hr. If you are scared that it is going to hurt the next day, just sleep with a damp face washer over the needle site. I did that & i didn't get any pain the next day. It still is a little tender so don't go running into walls for about 4 days. The whole program is over in about 9 months.
Example -
First dose - Feburary
Second dose - April
Final dose - October
PS. The needle is about over in 3 seconds
PSS. Eat a jellybean or something with sugar (Snake, Jellybaby, etc.) after the needle

hardly hurts, but rest your arm for a bit after it and apply pressure to your arm.

Depends how well you can tolerate pain.

It's more painful than other needles and aches for a few days but don't worry you'll be fine :-)
You'll be relieved after you get the third one lol

i had never had a needle before i got this one - but it was the most painful thing i ever had.... a lot of ppl in my grade found it the same.... it's quite quick like 2 secs but u can actually feel the fluid running thru ur arm and i cudn't move my arm for the rest of the day if that's normal for needle...... but i'm glad i already had all 3!!!

i've had all three of the needles it doesn't hurt..it felt like i had a dead arm for about 5min bout thats about it. did not even get a bruse
