Cervical cancer needle?

i am getting it done tommorow morning and everyone is telling me how painful it is and im really nervous how do i calm down and is the pain worse than a nose pierce??

It's a quick pinch and a slight sting. Lasts about 5 seconds.

Ive never had a cerviacl cancer needle done but i have had cryosurgery ..thats where they burn the cancerous cells off with a wand using nitrous oxide.. i think this would hurt worse than what anyone can indure ..well other than labor . or childbirth..but it felt as how i was when they were having to induce me for my miscarriage.. this is how bad it hurt but i dont think that this would be as bad..just think probably a little bitty pinch for about 5- 15 minutes compared to infertility for the rest of your life or dying from cervical cancer... i think i would go with the pain.. I have been diagnosed wiht HPV for 4 years now and also have pcos ..and have been ttc for 3 years..good luck to you and dont worry

ok, the pain isnt worse than a nose peirce. Iv had it done 3 times and i could hardly feel it. and this is coming from a person that is really afraid of needles. It is no worse than any others and most of the trouble is caused by the fear of the needle, not the needle it self. you have probably heard of some people being badly affected, but its very unlikely to be you. My friend fainted, but it was mostly to do with she was really scared about the needle. Its no big deal. Take lollies. I always take a bag of snakes to injections (at school) and they are great for calming the nerves. They probably give you one, but i want more than one normally. Its fun at the end coz it gives everyone something to talk about and having everyone in a room to talk after wards in the "cooling down" 15 mins is really good. Youll be fine, and remember take jelly snakes! GOod luck (not that you need it) :-)

If you are really getting this done then you should think about your other questions when you make things up. You have said that you get raped from your dad every morning, that you had sex with your 2 year old brother and someone else at the same time. Then you said you had your first kiss the other day and thought you sucked at it.

If you arent getting this procedure done - then along with your other questions that arent true - you need to get some help.

No way. Getting your nose pierce is worser.
I was so afraid of shots, but 2 weeks ago i got 3 shots, and one was cervical, the nurse said girls complain about it, but it was done in seriously 2 seconds, and just a small small small sting. Dont worry, its all cool.

Just tell yourself a little pain now will be saving you from a lot of pain in the future. Believe me this i know. Having a needle is better than getting cancer. You will be fine
