What's in the cervical cancer vaccine?

Can someone please tell me what exactly is injected when one gets this vaccination? For example, with the chickenpox vaccine, you're injected with a mild form of the virus right, and you could get a mild attack of chickenpox after getting the shot. So what I want to know is -- what exactly is injected with the HPV vaccine? What happens to it in the body and could it itself become carcinogenic?

p.s. Don't guess please.

This is a vaccine for HPV human papillomavirus - one of the leading causes of cervical cancer. You can still get cervical cancer from other causes even if you get the vaccine.

The vaccine lacks the viral DNA, it has the HPV proteins in it that can make an antibody response to the HPV. The vaccine cannot induce cancer.
