What is the likelihood of cervical cancer spreading?

before it found if someone has just had an abnormal pap in the past 6 months? can it be spread badly and bloodwork not show something abnormal?

It depends on the type of cervical cancer. Some are slow, some are fast.
Remember that having an abnormal pap does NOT mean you have cervical cancer - there are a lot of reasons why you can get an abnormal pap smear, and some are completely innocent. Generally, if you have an abnormal pap smear, your gynecologist will recommend that you have another pap smear at a later date, or will recommend that you have a different test, like a colposcopy, to determine whether it's really cancer.

Talk to your gynecologist or her nurse!

Cervical cancer is just like any other cancer. Unfortunately, it can spread, or metastasize. There are a number of symptoms, such as odorous vaginal discharge, burning urination, etc. For a complete list of the probable symptoms and what to do, try going to the following URL.
