Am I more likely to get cervical cancer if I masturbate?

If you have a sexual intercourse at a younger age, you're more likely to get cervical cancer. I haven't had my shots for it yet. Will masturbation affect my chance of getting it?

no, because cervical cancer comes from acquiring the Human Papaloma Virus which is carried by men, but only effects women. So if you are not having intercourse with men, then masturbation will not raise the risks of you getting cervical cancer.

no, and cervical cancer from sex at a young age is from VERY young, when your vagina isn't even close to being fully developed and the penis injures the cervix over and over. If you've gone through puberty it's not going to have an effect, and masturbation certainly won't. If you're wanting to masturbate chances are you're fairly well developed and your body is ready for that sort of thing.

The most common way to get cervical cancer is through intercourse (about 70% of all cases are STD/virus related). The other 30% just "happen."

There are much bigger things to worry about, but frankly masturbation is 100% safer than ANY other type of sexual contact, so don't sweat the small stuff.

No, not at all. Cervical cancer is caused by a virus, not a behavior.

However, scientists are not so sure it has to be through sexual contact anymore, HPV (the Human Papilloma Virus) may be more contagious than that.

HPV is not the only cause of cervical cancer, just a common and preventable one. But that wasn't your question was it. No, fingering yourself doesn't cause cancer, just pleasure.

Hahaha!

For a person who just called another person Ignorant you sure ask a dumb question!

IRONY!
look it up in the dictionary please!

NO, masturbation shouldn't affect your chances of getting cervical cancer.

Your fingers/toys aren't capable of magically getting the HPV virus on them, so no.

If that were the case ALL women would have cervical cancer.

probably not, but i doubt that anyone has done a scientific study of that

No, definitely not. Go to town.
