Cervical Cancer/Colposcopy/Biospy is it painful.? |
Is it painful when you have a Colposcopy/Biospy done? Im scared, they told me I need to have that done. I dont know what to do. Since they tell me I'm at risk to having Cervical Cancer. Since you are at risk, it is definitely a good idea to get it done. I had a biopsy done and it was uncomfortable but they do numb the area before hand if they have to take a lot of samples (I have to have 15 done and it wasn't plesant). No, it isn't. I have had two. Most gyn's recommend that you take Tylenol, or another brand of pain reliever 1/2 hour prior to your procedure. |
