Cervical cancer injections. Help? :)?

My 12 year old sister recieved something about having these jabs. She has to have 3 of them. I was wondering (I'm 16) - if I could ask for them too or am I seen as too old for the injections?

I have a fear of needles, but would gladly try and put up with that fear!

I also haven't had my TB injection (Tetanus, yes!) - should they have called for me by now?

Is it also true that they no longer use six needles for the TB one? If I can't get both answers here, I shall have to make a new question.

It isn鈥檛 a cervical cancer vaccine. It is an HPV vaccine. It is recommended for girls before they are sexually active. You shouldn鈥檛 have a problem getting it.
TB stands for Tuberculosis and there is no vaccine for that.
For Tetanus you need a booster every 10 years and that is a single injection. The first time you get it, it is included with diphtheria and pertussis.

The only things about these shots...or any shots, are that they are full of preservatives such as mercury which are harmful to your body.
You're aren't too old to get the needle. I didn't get it and i'm also sixteen but if you take good care of yourself then you wont ever really need it.

Your not to old for them. They do not prevent all types of cervical cancers but it does help for certain strands of cervical cancer that start from the HPV virus. Ask your doctor for more information.

Give the Dt. a call and ask about your TP, not sure about that one.
