Cervical cancer jab for year 8s only? |
im in year 10 and they have just started issuing it to year 8s around the country, does that mean i will have to have it even though im in yr 10? It is going to be offered to you and it is important that mum consents to you receiving the vaccine. It will prevent 70% of cervical cancers. These kill 400 women, often quite young, each year and unfortunately it is often a painful, lingering death. I'm in year 8, feling very scared about it. I don't want it, but my mum said it's for my own good. |
