The cervical cancer shot?!?

okay for this shot is it pretty much preventing u from getting HPV? and does it only prevent u from getting it down there or everywhere?

down there only

there are side affects, but i think its worth getting. men cant be tested for it, but they can carry it. so theres no way yo know unless you get it and test positive. i have high risk hpv. 80% of people get it at one point in their lives. its really common. get the shot, but do your homework on it first. good luck and take care of yourself.

remember always get your yearly pap if your sexually active.

Prevention of Cervical cancer, means cancer prevention of the cervix. HPV is of the cervix. Not everywhere.

The Gardasil vaccine prevents HPV types 16, 18, 6, and 11. Those are common forms of oral and genitals warts.
So it also protects against one form of oral HPV.
