Worried about Cervical cancer!?

Hi when i was 12 years old i used a "homemade" dildo, i used it about 10 times, i am now 13, i was very stupid and i know i shouldn't have done it!
I heard that sex too young causes cervical cancer, and i am now worried that im going to get it
This is a serious question! the first person to answer get voted best answer! Please help Thanks

Having sex too young can not cause cervical cancer.

I think what was meant by that statement is that young people who engage in penetrative intercourse often don't take the proper precautions, and thus are more susceptible to STDs, including the human papilloma virus which can be a contributing factor in cervical cancer.

You, however, have not engaged in intercourse, you've just masturbated. And that's perfectly normal at your age, you're not too young for it. As long as the dildo was clean, you are fine. Lots of people use homemade dildos and as long as you keep it clean and don't share it you should be fine.

See, it has nothing to do with your age, it's all about disease transmission. And I am pretty sure that there is no way you could have contracted HPV from masturbating a few times.

If you are still super worried, then talk to your mom about getting that HPV vaccine that they came out with a couple years ago. It is approved for girls/women as young as 9 and a lot of people get it when they are in their early teens.

You don't really have to worry about cervical cancer until you are like 30. And even then, you just go in for a test called a Pap smear every couple of years and they check you out... that is not a big deal at all.

So relax. You're fine!

in young the vaccine against human papilloma virus usually gives the protection from the cervical cancer
