Does anyone know when you start seeing the symtoms of cervical cancer? (and lung cancer)?

me and a friend of of mine are trying to figure out so we can be prepared

You should not see signs of cervical cancer because by the time you do it is usually too late. If you get regular pap smears you wouldn鈥檛 need to worry about the symptoms and that is what being prepared means. Lung cancer symptoms are changing cough, anorexia, weight loss, dyspnea, unresolved pneumonias, chest wall pain and sometimes weakness in the arm or hand. However, you do not have to worry about lung cancer for another 40-50 years or so. By that time if we do not have a cure I hope we at least have a screen exam. Spend more time enjoying being young and less time worrying about cancer.

Many cancers don't really show up with symptoms in that organ.
My brother-in-law died of lung cancer last May. He had no breathing or lung problem, but, he had a sore back. He laid around the house waiting for his sore back to get better and it didn't. So, he went to a Chiropractor who sent him for X-rays. When he saw the films, he sent my brother-in-law for a CTScan and then to see an Oncologist.
Many cancers metastasize or spread to the rest of the body and as they grow start causing discomfort. Of course, by then it is too late to effectively treat.
My brother-in-law was 64.

You probably wouldn't start "seeing the symptoms of cervical cancer" unless you are in the late stages. Your GYN can tell very easily with a pap smear. If you start having spotting between periods, lower abdominal/groin pain, pain during intercourse etc.
Classic sign for lung cancer is coughing up blood.

I would thing you would have some discomfort and discharge with cervical and for lungs the lungs I would say coughing and smoking a sure sign somethings wrong.
