Does sex too young actually cause Cervical cancer or is it a myth?

Hi i know iv asked LOTS of questions about this but i just need a straight answer!

CERVICAL CANCER
Cervical Cancer Virus Myth Exposed
The Smegma Myth

Both males and females produce smegma and this is natural bodily excrement. It consists of a combination of exfoliated (shed) epithelial cells, transudated skin oils, moisture, and bacteria that accumulates under the foreskin of males and within the female vulva area. It has a characteristic strong odour and taste. Smegma is common to all mammals, male and female and it is not an abnormality. In humans mycobacterium smegmatis is the characteristic bacterium involved in smegma production and there is no evidence that this bacteria causes cervical cancer, but some authorities suggested that it was the smegma itself that may be carcinogenic in some way. This suggestion was seized by those seeking a virus cause of cancer as a possible candidate for the cause of cervical cancer.

No, having sex 'too young' does not cause cervical cancer.

One of the MAIN (but NOT only) causes of cervical cancer is the human papilloma virus. Logically, having more sex more often and/or with more partners means that person has greater chance of contracting this virus, but it is also true that someone could have sex a million times and not get it, and another could have sex just once and contract it.

Having sex young means there's a bigger chance you'll have more sex. But it does not MEAN you will have more sex. Someone could have sex once at 13 and then not again until they're married at 25. Or someone could save themselves until they're 18 and then go crazy about it.

Having sex at a young age means a) there's more TIME in which to be sexually active and b) these kids will probably continue to experiment with sex and thus have more partners.

This means having sex young MAY INCREASE THE CHANCE OF COMING INTO CONTACT WITH THE VIRUS, but it ABSOLUTELY DOES NOT, as the question asks, "cause cervical cancer".

Cervical cancer is caused by human papilloma virus and yes early coitus or sex at very young age is a predisposing factor. But no need to worry as there is vaccine available for it now, to know more about cervical cancer and its vaccine see http://dr-healthguide.blogspot.com/2008/...

The major cause of cervical cancer is HPV, the human papilloma virus.

HPV is sexually transmitted. There is a vaccine available.

The attached website is quite informative.

Not a Myth.. If you want to know what causes cervical cancer read this: http://the-cancer-disease.com/breast-can...

No it doesn't.
BUT there are other risks and reasons not to too young. Over 16 i believe the body can cope.

MYTH!!!
