Can you still have the cervical cancer jab after you have had sex?

i want to have sex with my boyfrend, like soon. but my mum has mentioned me having the cervical cancer jab. can you hav it after you have had sex? and would you need to say if you have had sex or not before you have it??

Best advice - wait to have sex, don't wait to get immunized. Your boyfriend should be man enough to wait to protect your health. Oh, and use a condom every time. There are a lot of sexually transmitted diseases that can't be prevented by immunization and you don't want to pick up one of those.
