Cervical cancer? |
my husband doesnt believe me that screwing around with a million dudes and using no protection can give you cervical cancer...how can i explain it to him better? Tell him that the leading cause of abnormal cells on the cervix, after having a Pap smear is HPV. (Human Papilloma Virus). Men give it to women, because they usually don't know they have it. If the abnormal cells turn into severe dysplasia the chances of that turning into cancer are very high. Tell him that women need to be vigilant about HPV because we would like to preserve our reproductive health. If cancer invades the cervix then a hysterectomy needs to be performed. I see it on TV all they time, its called the HPV Virus cervical cancer is one of the highest risks of cancer for females.....you have a greater risk of gettig cervical cancer if you have an std that is why women should go for a pap smear yearly! Want me to smack him? (Just kidding.) Tell him HPV is THE MOST COMMON STD in the world. Then tell him that HPV is strongly linked to cervical cancer.
