What do doctors do to test you for cervical cancer? They do a pap test and if it comes back abnormal they do additional testing They will do an office procedure called a colposcopy. With that biopsy done your test results back and it will tell you what stage of cervical dysplasia you have, CIN I-IV.Depending on what stage you have. They will either watch it for CIN I, freeze or burning it for CIN II....a cone biopsy for CIN III & IV. Sometime with a cone biopsy they will have removed all the bad cells. From there you doctor will tell you is best for you. A Pap Smear Test they do a regular pap test. |
