Genital warts is responsible for 90% of cervical cancer.
The early stages of cervical cancer may be completely asymptomatic. Vaginal bleeding, contact bleeding or (rarely) a vaginal mass may indicate the presence of malignancy. Also, moderate pain during sexual intercourse and vaginal discharge are symptoms of cervical cancer. In advanced disease, metastases may be present in the abdomen, lungs or elsewhere.
The Pap smear can detect cancerous or precancerous conditions of the cervix. A cervical biopsy is usually performed when a pap smear indicates significant abnormalities, or when an abnormal area is seen on the cervix during a routine pelvic examination. The biopsy identifies the abnormality. When a positive pap smear shows minor cell changes or abnormalities, a biopsy probably will not be done immediately, unless there is a reason to believe you may be in a high-risk category. For minor cell changes, it is usually recommended that a repeat pap smear be done in 6 months.
The current system of reporting divides the results into three main areas: benign (noncancerous), precancerous (showing some abnormal cell changes), and malignant (possibly cancerous).(MedlinePlus)
Cervical cancer is usually a squamous cell carcinoma that is caused by human papillomavirus infection or an adenocarcinoma. Early cancer is asymptomatic; the 1st symptom of later cancer is usually postcoital vaginal bleeding. Diagnosis is by screening cervical Papanicolaou (Pap) test and biopsy. Staging is clinical. Treatment usually includes surgical resection, radiation therapy, and, unless cancer is localized, chemotherapy; if cancer is widely metastasized, treatment is primarily chemotherapy. (Merck)

i was tested for cervical cancer a couple of years ago i didnt have the cells thank goodness but i did have a small lump on the outside of my cervix they gave me a loop diathermy where they burn some of the skin away, i was sent for the tests because my smear test showed abnomalties in the cells, they say you can spot the signs if you bleed arfter intercourse , abdominal pains and thick discharge, they say to help prevent cervical cancer is dont use talcum powder down below, not to use bubble bath and low scented shower creams and not to have unprotected sex. and go regulary for your smear tests
For that I have no idea but to be as safe as possible take vitimin c. The FDA says that the RDA for vit c is 64 mg a day. Linus Pauling who got a Nobel Prize for his work on vit c and a second Nobel Prize for organic chemestry says 1000 mg a day normally and 2000 mg a day if you are sick. Try it. A few years ago there was a research papaer out that said Interferon was the best cancer and infection fighter available, but it was $15,000 a gram. What the paper also said was that Interferon was the product of the natural breakdown of vit c in your system. Shortly after that paper came out the FDA tried to put vit c on perscription only. Guess why?? I had "something" that had me sick 2 weeks twice a year with at least one week in the middle flat on my back. After 25 years of doctors not knowing what it might be I started vitimin C therapy when I got sick. I took enough to keep me asymptomatic and just below too much to give me diarrea. It followed a bell curve over 2 weeks and at the peak I was taking 40,000 mg a day with 300,000 mg over 2 weeks. I did that when I got sick for 2 years and have never gotten sick in the last 10 years. Look into it.
