Cervical cancer?

i am a 43yr old grandmother of a 10 month old baby girl who is my whole world.......i been recently diagnosed with cervical cancer stage 3a i was wondering can i have a hysterectomy at this point or will it make my cancer spread i have also had radation and 6 chemo treatments that my doctor feels like we should take a break from it right now but the tumors are still there ....i am so scared i just want to know if i will be able to ne here to see my grand baby raised

Take heart. I can feel your fear, and I am saying a prayer for you right now for wisdom and for healing. For your peace of mind, maybe see another doctor for a second opinion about a hysterectomy. It is often a good idea, and I think your regular doctor would understand. All things will be well...
i think you should ask your doctor. i wish you great luck and keep hope alive. my aunt had cervical cancer and after her treatments lived another 22 years
LISTEN to your Doctor. If you are really doubtful, and want a second opinion, ask your Doctor for a recommendation for one. You have a right to that. And then know this, worry won't change a thing...have faith. My thoughts are with you!
Grandmother of nine.
