Cervical Cancer?

Ive been looking up Cervical cancer and a lot of sites say that you usually have irregular bleeding between periods. I dont have this but i do have some pelvic pain. And i am too scared to go to the doc. I dont know how to get over this fear.

Well, think of it this way: IF you DO have cervical cancer, worrying about it and avoiding the doctor will NOT make it go away. This type of cancer, while rare, does happen. And left untreated, it like every other cancer is 100% fatal.

So do yourself a favor and stop playing the ostrich. Make your appointment and get in to be seen. Chances are, you're worrying yourself over nothing. The cramping might not be reproductive-organ related, even (as in, it might be an irritable bowel or even just gas!).

Take care of yourself, because no one's going to do it for you! Source(s): 10 year cervical cancer SURVIVOR...because I didn't stick my head in the ground and wish it would just go away!!!!
You probably don't have cervical cancer if you've had annual paps which have been normal. You should definately see an ob/gyn for your pelvic pain and annual pap.
