Cervical cancer question? |
My mother was diagnosed with stage 2.3 out of stage 11 cervical cancer. She is having freezing done at the moment to keep it controlled and is going to have it all removed. The doctor told her she has about 10 years left. She is in her early 50's. I was wanting to know what the average years for someone to live? Doctors love to throw those numbers out and they are bullshit. I have cervical cancer myself level 1 so I am not to worried. The reality is you are your own descsion as to how long you may live ... it is how you take care of yourself and how you choose to view your situation. Tell your mother to get in touch with a cancer center of america if possible they are great and help in this department will probably tell you the same thing I did that NO one can tell you how long you have, If you have a will to live and a great desire. Trust me its all about you and what you want ... if you want to die in ten years and let yourself go then you let yourself become another statistic and did not have much of a desire to be more than a number ... but you can take control of your life and live ... Good luck !! |
