Cervical cancer surviver?

It runs in my family, fathers side.
We had 5 women in the family, 3 survived because they found out early 2 passed away because it was too late. They where all over 55 years old.
A friends mother also went through the same, she survived. She was then about 47 and very optimistic in her life. I think that helped alot.

Paul, it helps to know that you are not alone, that there are people who survived and are still surviving. That women can and do cope after the hysterectomy which is very difficult!
