Does cervical cancer have any symptoms and if so what are they?
No, cervical cancer does not have any symptoms. That is why we get a Pap Smear every year. It is a relatively inexpensive test, and can even detect pre-cancerous cells so your doctor can treat it in the earliest stages.
Source(s):
12 years of working OB/GYN No it does not unless you have genital warts and that doesn not necissarily mean you are at immediate risk of irregular/cancerius cells from HPV. Somewhere around 95% of all cervical cancer is derived from the Human Pappiloma Virus. This virus consists of around 80 strands some of which cause cancer, others genital warts. If you have been exposed to multiple sex partners or have not had a pelvic/pap in the past 6 mos, good idea to go get one from your local Planned Parenthood or other Govt funded clinic for women.
