Can cervical cancer prevent flow of the menstral cycle??

Can cervical cancer prevent flow of the menstral cycle??

there are many more causes of cessation of menstrual cycles that are much more common than cervical cancer. However, if there is a large tumor on the cervix, it could obstruct the opening to the cervix and prevent menstrual flow. This would be pretty unusual, though, and if the tumor is that large, it would likely bleed itself. So if cessation of menses is your symptom, it's likely from something hormonal, and a doctor can do bloodwork to figure it out. You should also get annual pap tests to detect any precancerous lesions before they become cancer.
Usually there is no symptoms at all until later stages. Abnormal or increased bleeding is usually a more typical sign then. Pregnancy, among other things, would be a more common cause of the symptom you noted.

Lack of Menstral period from cervical cancer is rare, but not unheard of. If you are concerned that you might have cervical cancer. I would make an appointment with your doctor asap. The earlier cervical cancer is detected the better the diagnoses.
