Tampons and cervical cancer???

A friend of mine had part of her lower cervix removed for cervical cancer, now she says that she can't wear tampons anymore. Does anyone know if she can still wear them or if she shouldn't since part of her cervix is now gone.

I dont know why they told her not to wear tampons, perhaps her procedure had some type of complication. usually, you can wear them after a leep or cone biopsy, but she should follow her doctors directions.
