Do the same viruses that cause cervical cancer cause prostrate cancer or other cancers? |
Do the same viruses that cause cervical cancer cause prostrate cancer or other cancers? I've heard that HPV can cause penile cancer, but it's very, very rare. (Much more so than cervical cancer.) My understanding is that they have not found a link yet to prostrate cancer but it is being investigated and I was wondering if this is true. No, they are exclusive to cervical cancer; noway, prostrate can be prevented if men eat more tomatoes, pumpkin seeds HPV does contribute to penile cancer. But, as noted above, penile cancer is very rare. |
