Do i have cervical cancer? |
I looked up some symtoms and have very few but im still worried i have that or vaginitis. I've been bleeding during intercourse and its driving me crazy! Its like i will bleed a lot...then just lil spots...then not at all...then a lot again...and its always during. I'm getting my first pap in 2 weeks and hopefully i figure out whats wrong because this cant be normal. But what do you guys think is causing this? It can go away and stop right...sometimes i just dont want to have sex anymore because of the bleeding. Please help...i deeply appreciate any advice!!! It sounds more like hormonal imbalance to me. A PAP test once a year or every 2 years starting from the age of 25-30 is always a good idea. I would also ask your GP to prescribe some easy bloot tests to check the hormonal levels. If these are imbalanced, a mini or micro pill could solve your problems. Alternatively, if you suspect vaginitis, it could be a Candida infection. Again, the PAP test should be able to tell you Good luck x i doubt you have cervical cancer, the bleeding isn't normal, but its good that you're going to get checked out. i'd only worry if you let the bleeding go on unchecked for a very long time . You can't diagnose cancer without the pap smear. As for bleeding during intercourse, there are many reasons for that to happen, including rough sex, recently broken hymen and breakthrough bleeding if you're on the pill. Wait for the doctor's visit, try not to worry too much ( I know, easy for me to say :) ) and I hope you feel better soon. Myself: R.N. / Master's in Nursing Education. |
