Yes you can. HPV is a virus it hides in the body and comes back. What did you have done to get rid of the cervical cancer? LEEP, cone biopsy, hysterectomy?
I think that once you are infected, you carry the virus forever. Now, the virus may affect your cervix again (unless you had it removed) or it may not. But, if it makes you feel better, about 50% of US population is carrying the HPV virus.
Of course you could get infected if your husband has HPV. The problem however is that you already have the virus before that caused the cancer. It may never completely leave the body once you have it.
Congratulation on being a cervical cancer survivor!!

Having the virus progress to a cancer generally indicates that your body is not building anti-bodies to your shared HPV type or types.

The hysterectomy removed the diseased cervix but you may also carry HPV on the vaginal walls or the vulva. It is important that you do self vulva exams and continue pap smears as your doctor recommends. There is no standard screening for vulva HPV. Any changes of vulva skin should be promptly reported to your oncologist.

With any new sex partner you could acquire other HPV types.
