Did you know this about HPV/Cervical Cancer? |
If you don't already know, HPV is a very widely known cause of cervical cancer. An estimated 80% of women between the ages of 16-25 who are sexually active have HPV and could be at risk for cervical cancer....which has no known cure and could lead to death!!!! I recently saw a commercial on TV about a new vaccine to prevent cervical cancer! It is called Gardasil and everyone (ladies) should ask their doctor about this vaccine during their next visit. Please take your health seriously and find out for yourself! No I didn't know that thank you I certainly will!! Yes I do know about that! Thank you for sharing it with the public I feel all women and men should know about this! 鈾? Yes, I knew that, but thanks for sharing it with everyone else. yes i have saw the commercial . and im gonna get the vaccine soon . I did not when I was 17 and got it. i am now 23 and i have to go to the gyno every 6 months. Thank you for writing and spreading the word. Every one should get this shot it only prevents 2 types of HPV that cause cervical cancer. there are over aprx 40 strains of HPV, more than half of which can cause cancerous cells. although its great to prevent the spread of the disease, its not doing as much as people think. Not to mention, they can still spread the disease to their partners who can spread it to others that may not have the vaccine. People need to stop sleeping around, thats the only way to prevent the spread of STDs. There are other things besides cancer that people should worry about... you dont JUST get cancer there from the HPV virus. The commercials bother me because they make it sound like the only way to get cancer there is from the HPV (human passed) virus. You can get cancer there anyways as well, But, good to inform people anyhow! |
