Does HPV mean you'll get cervical cancer in ANY case? |
If not, what are the other risk factors? No, not all women with HPV will get cervical cancer. There are several types of HPV which caused different symptoms. HPV-16, HPV-18, HPV-31, & HPV-45 are the types which cause cervical cancer. HPV-1 is known to cause foot warts. HPV-2 will cause hand warts. The final two types, HPV-6 & HPV-11, cause genital warts. A few of women may get the cancer from hpv http://www.positivesingles.com/blog/mala... No, not necessarily. Get it treated right away. I had HPV when I was 19 years old. The strain I had caused genital warts. I had them removed and had to use this awful cream for a while that basically killed all the bad cells in that area. I probably had it until I was about 20 1/2. My body basically fought it after all of the seemingly endless treatment. I am now 36 years old and have had normal pap smears ever since and no recurrence. Just make sure you get it treated properly and make sure you have your paps when you're supposed to. If you have be told you have HPV, be proactive in getting it treated. It doesn't guarantee it of course, but it is one of the major factors that increase your risk long-term. no it means ur at risk for precancerous cells or dysplasia ranging from 1-5 in severity....my sister has it and i just diagnosed with it too ...ur not the only one girl don't feel bad okay :) |
