Hello,

You need to get a Pap Smear. Its very crucial to get Pap Smears regularly, they can save your life. Also, ask your doctor for an HPV Test. Studies show that 80% of all cervical cancers are caused by HPV, its a sexually transmitted virus that sometimes has no symptoms...As for being late, you may be pregnant, but you need to go the the gynoclogist anyway. A week is nothing to worry about. A more likely question is whether you could be pregnant. Go to your doctor if you're really worried that something is wrong.
you cannot tell yourself if you have cervical cancer. go to the doctor and get your PAP and they'll do a swab to check for this. no it does not stop your periods. you better get this checked out with the doctor too, or get a store-bought pregnancy test.
Go to a doctor and get a blood test for pregnancy and tell him/her your concern about cancer.
It can if you have it but dont worry if your only a week late. Stress is what causess the lateness in periods. Unless you have something else work with you and the only person who will give you the best answer is your doctor.
