I was told they thought I had cervical cancer and they removed the majority of my cervix and said more than? |
likely I wont be able to have any more kids is that true has anyone had this happen and succesfully had a baby? Yes. They told me I may not be able to get pregnant again. They also told me that if I did get preg, that I may miscarry, my cervix may not have been strong enough to hold the child. Or that if I did carry I would need a C sec, because my cervix would not be able to dialate. Guess what? I had my son in Dec 2004, I had the surgery in Jan 2005, and I got preg with my daughter Feb 2005!!! I went into labor at 37 wks. And guess what else? Although I was at 1 cm for almost 24 hrs, by the 25th I was 4 cms, and in another 5 or 6 hrs I was ready to give birth, vaginally! I thank God for my little girl everyday. I knew I wanted more children but I didn't ever think I would have another, even that soon! Besides that, they have discovered a tumor on my left ovary.....I am going for surgery on the 29th of this month. The Lord knows what He is doing. I always wondered why He let me have another so fast, and now I know. Just pray the Lords will on your life, put your faith in Him, and tell him your hearts desires. That's what He wants and commands us to do. I know it is a hard, horrible thing to go through but it all happens for a reason. Keep your chin up and stay positive. xoxox at least you had child some don't have that I would ask the md- the cervix or what is left of it may be considered incompetent- and would not stay closed during the pregnancy and result in miscarriage- I know someone the had to have the cervix sutured- (stitched) shut to keep it closed- it helped- D not a doc is possible i know u I have had cervical cancer for 4 yrs. and I had the laser sergery because not only was it in my cervix but was also in the bottom of my uterous and I got pregnant 2 1/2 yrs. later. It was hard to get pregnant but my pregnancy wasn't a problem and I had a healthy baby. The only problem that I had was they had a bit of a hard time getting the bleeding to stop, and thats it. I wish you the best and hope everything goes how you want it to. |
