Is it possible for a virgin to get cervical cancer? How likely is it?

Is it possible for a virgin to get cervical cancer? How likely is it?

Anyone with a cervix can get cervical cancer...being a virgin doesn't eliminate the risk, just reduces it.

Talk to your doc about your risk level if you are concerned...
I don't know the answer to that, but I am all for the new vaccine that they have out. It sure will save alot of lives. I can't believe all the parents who are complaining that their girls might HAVE to take it. Why wouldn't you want your child to be protected from a life-taking disease.
I'm not sure about how likely you are to get cervical cancer. You can have Cervical cancer and not be sexually active (or ever had had sex). HPV (the virus that causes SOME types of cervical cancer) has a new vaccine called Gardasil and it's used to protect women from certain types of HPV that cause cancer. You can read up on it on the link below.

I wish they would have made that vaccine sooner. :|
