My friend has Cervical Cancer what can i do for her??

I really care for her and i dont know what to do. Her husband is in the military.

its come back the 7th time and she's given up on treatment she dosent want to go back.

All you can do is be there for her when she needs you. It means a lot to be there for someone. I know it's hard to watch a friend go through something like this. You've gotta be strong for her, just be there and give her your support and love. Go with her to doctor appointments when she's scared or just go along with her anyways.

be by her side during the treatment, leaving someone alone during treatment could leave them pretty depressed and hence the treatment aint that effective..

Talk to the person, let the doctors take care of the illness.

You could ask her what you could do for her, whether it is something as simple as someone to talk to when she needs it.

Prehaps to surprise her and take her mind off things you could send her flowers, bake her a cake or take her out to the movies. Help her see the good things in life and appreciate whatever she is able to.

Prehaps, if she is a religious person she may find strength through her religion.

Sometimes in these situations you may fear saying "the wrong thing" - something that may upset her. She may fear telling you too much and worrying you. A suggestion is just listening to what she says, its that simple. You don't have to offer sympathy or an instant solution or tell her how sad you are that she may no longer be around. This may cause emotional issues for her and add to her suffering.

Just my listening she will feel a weight has been taken off her shoulders, and feel supported.
